Job Opportunity: CVOR Tech - Surgical Services
Location: Anchorage, Alaska
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Required Certifications
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- NCCT or NBSTSA preferred
- Additional certifications may be required based on unit designation (e.g., ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.)—verify per unit details

Licensure & Background Requirements
- Must have valid state license (pending license not accepted)
- Background check within 45 days of start, covering all locations lived/worked in past 7 years
- Education verification required
- Drug screen: 10 panel within 90 days of start (no instant tests)
- Physical exam within 1 year of start
- Immunizations and health documents required:
- TB test or chest x-ray within 12 months
- TDAP vaccine within 10 years (declination accepted)
- MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) vaccination or positive titer
- Hepatitis B vaccination or signed declination (Alaska placements require positive titer and vaccine series)
- Varicella vaccination or positive titer
- Flu vaccine during flu season or declination
- COVID vaccine or declination
- Fit mask test required for travel candidates (updated annually)
- Respiratory safety clearance required annually for travel candidates
Compliance & Training Requirements
- Must complete Providence WorkRamp modules as assigned prior to start (includes core, specialty, and regulatory modules depending on role and region)
- Epic training modules required for charting system access
- References: Minimum 2 supervisor references covering 1 year of employment in a comparable specialty/setting within last 3 years
- Employment application covering at least last 5 years required
- Skills checklist required annually for applicable units
Additional Notes
- Time off requests limited to one per 13-week assignment
- No weekend or on-call shifts required
- No floating to other units or facilities expected
- Candidates must be non-local (reside at least 50 miles away)
- First-time travelers accepted
