Travel RN - Labor and Delivery

Location: Las Vegas, Nevada
Employment Type: Travel


Unit Information

  • Unit: Labor and Delivery
  • Number of Beds: 10 + 2 OR suites
  • Patient Ratios: 2:1
  • Staffing: Charge nurse, 2 RNs, OB tech, unit secretary available
  • Equipment: Varies
  • Documentation System: CPN and Meditech
  • Scheduling: Three 12-hour shifts per week
  • Floating Policy: To “like units” or to task
  • On Call: No on call required
  • Weekend Requirement: 4 weekend shifts per schedule

Required Certifications

  • Intermediate AWHONN
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • STABLE
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)

Job Responsibilities

  • Care for laboring patient population
  • Perform procedures including C-section, cerclages, induction of labor, versions, and baby catch

Requirements

  • Registered Nurse License (Nevada)
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery specialty
  • Prior travel experience: Not required

Contract Length

  • 13 weeks
