Cardiovascular (CVL) Tech - Albuquerque, New Mexico
Job Summary
- Responsibilities include Adult Cardiac Catheterization, Cardiac Devices, Electrophysiology, and/or Structural Heart procedures.
- Maintain complete and accurate documentation, medication, charge, and reporting accuracy of daily procedural caseload.
- Provide emergent care as needed.
- Perform administrative tasks such as ordering supplies, maintaining inventory, ensuring equipment maintenance, and lab cleanliness.
- Prepare procedure rooms and ensure compliance with local and federal regulations.
- Floating between departments and/or local locations within 20 miles is required.

- 13 weeks
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum 3 years of adult Cath lab diagnostic, interventional, or electrophysiology (EP) procedures experience performing scrubbing, circulating, and monitoring/recording duties (preferred over 1+ year stated).
- Must be a team player, flexible, and accustomed to a fast-paced environment.
- Prior travel experience required: must have successfully completed at least one 13-week travel assignment.
Education Requirements
- Associate’s Degree in one of the following:
- Invasive Cardiovascular / Cardiopulmonary Technologist program
- Radiology
- Respiratory Therapy
- Paramedic program
- Surgical Technology
OR
- Four (4) years of relevant experience can be substituted in lieu of a degree.
Required Certifications & Licensure
- RCIS or RCES
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
Note: PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) is only required at a specific downtown location and not applicable here.
