Respiratory Therapist Travel Job - Williston, North Dakota

Position Overview

• Coverage Areas: All hospital areas including inpatient, outpatient, ER, rehab, sleep lab

Required Certifications & Licenses

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT)
• North Dakota state respiratory license

Experience Requirements

• Must be able to work with all populations/ages, including neonatal patients
• Required years of specialty experience: Not explicitly stated, but implied to require competency with neonatal through geriatric patients and trauma/stroke stabilization cases (recommend minimum 1+ year experience)

Job Duties

• Provide routine respiratory therapy treatments on medical/surgical floors
• Assist with EKGs
• Assist with complicated neonatal deliveries and C-section cases
• Trauma stabilization until patient transfer
• No clinical involvement beyond respiratory therapy scope
• Ventilated patients are transferred out of the facility

Work Schedule

• Shifts: 3x12 hour shifts (6:00 AM - 6:00 PM) plus 12-hour call after shift
• Scheduling: Team scheduling; open to block scheduling based on need
• Weekend Requirement: Rotating weekends
• Holiday Requirement: Every other holiday
• Orientation: 3 shifts (12 hours each) with another RT

Additional Information

• Scrubs: Green generally; any color allowed on Fridays
• Radius Rule: Candidates must not have worked full-time, part-time, or PRN within 50 miles at any facility associated with CommonSpirit (including CHI or Dignity) in the past 12 months
• Return to Office (RTO) needed upfront; no additional RTO approved after submission
