Job Opportunity: Interventional Radiology Technician

Location: Boston, Massachusetts
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 26 weeks


Job Description

  • Experienced IR technologist skilled in Angiography (Angio) and Neurointerventional Radiology (NIR)
  • Equipment experience required with Siemens, Philips, and GE systems
  • Shift options include:
    • Two 8-hour shifts and two 12-hour shifts per week
    • Four 10-hour shifts per week
    • Days of the week to be determined
  • Additional coverage may include late shifts, weeknights, on-call, and potential weekend rotation
  • Must hold Massachusetts state licenses in Radiology prior to start date

Required Experience

  • Specialty: Interventional Radiology Technician

Licensure & Certifications Required Before Start

Health & Safety Requirements

  • Fit Test for N95 respirator within 365 days of start date, updated annually
  • Influenza vaccine required during flu season (Sept 15 - April 30), no exemptions allowed
  • TB test (skin test or blood test) within 3 months of start date, updated if break >6 months
  • MMR vaccination or proof of immunity
  • Health Statement signed by MD/DO/NP/PA within 365 days of start date, updated if break >6 months
  • Optional but strongly preferred: Hepatitis B and Tdap vaccinations
  • If positive TB test, documentation of negative chest X-ray required

Background & Professional Requirements

  • Criminal background check within 45 days prior to start, updated if break >6 months
  • Massachusetts CORI background check within 30 days prior to start, updated if break >6 months
  • National sex offender registry check within 30 days prior to start, updated annually
  • Exclusion checks (OIG, GSA, MassHealth, NH Medicaid) within 30 days prior to start, updated annually
  • Education verification of highest degree achieved
  • Social Security Number trace for past 7 years
  • Submission of 2 recent professional references (minimum 1 supervisor or above)
  • Submission of a detailed resume including past 7 years of work experience with city and state
  • Completion of skills checklist and candidate submission coversheet

Additional Requirements

  • Submit a professional badge photo (color, recent within 6 months, no filters or glasses)
  • Confirmation of assignment form required upon acceptance and for any start date changes
  • Respirator Medical Clearance attestation required if fit test is required
