Job Opportunity: MRI Technician

Location: Jamaica Plain, Massachusetts
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Work Schedule

• 40-hour work week
• Shifts:

  • Tuesday: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
  • Wednesday: 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM
  • Friday: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
  • Saturday: 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM

Required Credentials & Certifications

• BLS Certification (AHA preferred; Red Cross accepted)
• Professional License/Certificate Verification (Primary source verification required; MA Conditional Licenses not accepted)
• Fit Test (N95 respirator fit test within 365 days of start date, updated annually)
• MMR Vaccination or Immunity Proof (Two measles, two mumps, and one rubella vaccine OR two MMR vaccines OR immunity blood test)
• Influenza Vaccine (Required during flu season, Sept 15 – April 30; no exemptions)
• TB Test (Documentation of TB skin test or negative QuantiFERON/T-spot blood test within 3 months of start date; updated if >6 month break)
• Health Statement (Physician statement within 365 days of start date; updated if >6 month break)
• Criminal Background Check (Within 45 days prior to start; includes county and international searches if applicable)
• Massachusetts CORI Background Check (Within 30 days prior to start; updated if >6 month break)
• Resume (Past 7 years of work experience with city & state)
• References (2 recent references, minimum 1 supervisor or above in skillset)
• Skills Checklist (Required for submission)
• Confirmation of Assignment/POI Form (Required for all initial assignments and extensions)
• Respirator Medical Clearance Attestation (If fit test required)
• Education Verification (Verified through background check)
• SSN Trace (Must be run with criminal check)
• National Sex Offender Check (Within 30 days of start; updated annually)
• Exclusion Checks (OIG, GSA, MassHealth & NH Medicaid lists; within 30 days of start and annually)
• Candidate Submission Coversheet (Required for submission)

Optional / Preferred Credentials

• Hepatitis B Vaccination or Immunity Proof (Strongly preferred)
• Tdap Vaccine (Within 10 years; preferred)
• Positive PPD - Negative Chest X-Ray (If applicable)
• TB Symptom Survey (If positive PPD; updated annually)
