Job Opportunity: Ultrasound Tech (Adult Echocardiography)

Location: Elko, Nevada
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Position Details

Specialty: Adult Echocardiography
Shift: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Weekly Hours: 40 hours guaranteed
Call Requirements: Rotating weekend call (8 AM – 8 PM)
Number of Openings: 1
Patient Population: Adult
Facility Type: Rural, Level 4 Trauma
Number of Beds: 75
Patient Load: Approximately 5 outpatients per day (1-hour scheduled slots), plus 1-3 inpatients daily
Equipment Used: GE E95
Electronic Health Record (EHR): Medhost VidiStar

Required Qualifications

Certifications:
- ARDMS (AE) Adult Echocardiography OR
- CCI (RCS) Registered Cardiac Sonographer
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
Experience: Minimum 1 year in Adult Echocardiography specialty
Skills:
- Proficient in Routine Echo, Stress Echo, Transesophageal Echocardiography (TEE)
- Experience with Contrast (Definity) Administration and Agitated Saline Studies
Education: Graduate from an accredited program with relevant certifications
Personality Fit: Self-starter

Additional Information

Dress Code: Professional scrubs (no camo patterns)
Travel Requirement: Must be located more than 60 miles from the facility to qualify as travel
Orientation: Weekly Monday orientations available
Start Time: Candidates must be able to start within 7-10 days of offer acceptance
