Job Summary

Seeking a Respiratory Therapist to join the Respiratory Department team. The role involves providing quality respiratory treatments and testing for all age groups in both inpatient and outpatient settings, including emergency department care. Responsibilities include patient and family education, assisting with discharge planning, and performing various respiratory tests such as Pulmonary Function Tests (PFTs), Stress Tests, and EKGs.

Schedule

• Dayshift
• 6 days on, 8 days off

Essential Job Functions

• Operate and have knowledge of various respiratory equipment
• Work effectively as part of a team with excellent communication skills
• Provide care for all age groups, including attending all C-sections (current experience required)
• Educate patients and families on respiratory diseases and medications
• Perform outpatient testing including PFTs, Stress Tests, and EKGs

Minimum Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy Program
• Registered or Certified Respiratory Therapist licensed in Montana
• Current BLS certification required
• NRP, PALS, and ACLS certifications highly preferred
• Experience with EPIC electronic health record system
