Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (RN) - Medical Surgical / Cardiac Telemetry / Stroke Neuro / Step-Down ICU

Location: Rockford, Illinois

Required Licenses & Certifications

• Current Illinois RN License

Job Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members in patient care
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments following nursing techniques, policies, standards of care, and state laws
• Document care according to standards
• Develop, initiate, and execute individualized patient care plans as prescribed by physicians and hospital policy, including patient and family education
• Participate in department or unit performance improvement activities, including shared governance
• Provide clinical expertise and guidance to other units/departments to support the patient’s longitudinal plan of care
• Apply critical thinking related to patient safety and experience, escalating issues appropriately
