Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - Travel Position

Location: Gainesville, Georgia
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Summary

  • Specialty: Neuro or Inpatient Rehab preferred
  • Employment Type: Travel
  • Facility Type: 40-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital
  • Patient Population: Adult, geriatric, neuro, ortho, debility, amputee, critical illness
  • Shift: Day with weekend rotation
  • Weekly Hours: 40 (including 8 weekend hours)
  • Call Requirements: None

Requirements

  • Years of Experience: 2 years in specialty (SLP)
  • Prior Travel Experience: Not specified (assumed not required)
  • Certifications: Licensed to practice in Georgia
  • Education: Master's or Doctorate degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Skills/Experience:
    • Evaluation and treatment of neurological, orthopedic, and geriatric populations
    • Preferred experience with neuro or inpatient rehab and GG Quality Indicators
  • Personality Fit: Down to earth, enjoys engaging and fun treatment approaches, good sense of humor

  • Patient Ratios: 4-6 patients per clinician
  • Equipment Used: Bioness Vector, Senaptec, Neuro VR, Lite Gait, Standing Frame, Tilt Table, Car Simulator, Chattanooga Tower, NuStep, Omnicycle
  • Electronic Health Record (EHR): EPIC (read-only), UDS Pro Doc Rehab Connect
