Position Details

Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
Weekend Hours: Every 3rd weekend
Float Requirements: Must frequently float to NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit)

Experience & Certifications

Required Years of Experience: 2+ years in PICU
NICU Experience: Required (due to float requirements)
Required Certifications:
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- Crisis Prevention Intervention Training (CPI)

Unit: Pediatrics/PICU
Number of Beds: 12
Patient Ratios:
- PICU: 1:1 or 2:1
Patient Population: Pediatrics
Equipment Used: Nihon Koden, Drager ventilators
Electronic Health Record (EHR): Cerner

Additional Notes

This is a Level 3 NICU and teaching hospital environment.
The role requires flexibility to float between PICU and NICU units.
Dress code allows any scrub color.
Prior travel experience is not explicitly required.
