Travel RN Opportunity - GI Unit
Location: Arlington, Texas
Employment Type: Travel
Unit Information
- Unit: Gastrointestinal (GI)
- Beds: 2 Endoscopy rooms
- Staff: 6 total (Day shift: 1 charge nurse, 2 RNs, 1 tech)
- Patient Ratio: 1:1
- EMR System: Meditech
- Typical Procedures:
- EGD (Esophagogastroduodenoscopy)
- Colonoscopy
- ERCP (Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography)
- PEG (Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastrostomy)
- Bronchoscopy
- EBUS (Endobronchial Ultrasound)
Requirements
- Specialty: Registered Nurse (RN) with Gastrointestinal experience
- Years of Experience: Minimum 1 year GI experience (highest required)
- Certifications:
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- Licenses: Registered Nurse License
- Prior Travel Experience: Not required
Work Schedule & Environment
- Shift: Day shift
- Call: Rotating weekday call starting at 3pm; weekend call 24 hours
- Dress Code: Hospital provided scrubs
- Personality Fit: Accountability, leadership, willingness, positive attitude, and flexibility
