Job Opportunity: Ultrasound Tech/Sonographer
Location: Idaho Falls, Idaho
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Unit Information
- Number of Beds: 318
- Number of Staff: 5
- Shift Coverage:
- Day Shift: 2 staff on-site Monday-Friday
- Night Shift: 1 staff on-site on weekends and nights
- Patient Mix: 45% outpatients, 55% inpatients and ER
- Equipment: GE Ultrasound machines
- EMR System: Meditech
Job Requirements
- Specialty: Ultrasound Tech/Sonographer
- Required Certifications:
- ARDMS Abdomen (ABD)
- ARDMS Physics
- ARRT (S) or ARDMS Certification
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- Years of Experience Required: 2 years in specialty
- Skills Required:
- General ABD and OB ultrasound skills (candidates without these will not be considered)
- Preferred Skills:
- Experience with procedures such as Paracentesis (Para) and Thoracentesis (Thora) Fine Needle Aspirations (FNA’s)
- Personality Fit: Friendly demeanor
- Dress Code: Black scrubs

- Minimum certification requirements include passing ultrasound certification tests for Abdomen and Physics.
