Travel Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Houston, Texas

Job Details

Unit Information

  • Number of Beds: 68
  • Staffing: 4 total RTs (2 day shift, 2 night shift)
  • Patient Ratios: 1 RT to 20-30 patients
  • Equipment Used: Continuous pulse oximetry, CPAP, BIPAP, ventilator, EKG machine
  • Electronic Medical Record (EMR): Meditech

Required Skills

  • Incentive Spirometry knowledge and education
  • Entering appropriate RT charges
  • Using and troubleshooting EKG machine
  • Setting up CPAP
  • Identifying when O2 tank is low

Preferred Skills

  • Strong people skills
  • Excellent assessment skills
