Travel RN Opportunity - Float Pool ICU/IMC

Job Description

• Float pool position requiring flexibility to work across multiple ICU and IMC departments including:

  • Neuro ICU
  • Surgical/Trauma ICU (SICU)
  • Cardiac ICU (CICU)
  • Cardiothoracic ICU (CTICU)
  • Various IMC units
• Patient ratios:

  • ICU units: 1:2
  • IMC units: 1:3
• Care for basic ICU patients such as sedated, intubated, and patients on pressors. No care for high complexity patients like CRRT.
• Must be able to read and interpret telemetry independently.
• Shift options: 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Weekend requirement: 75% weekends
• No call requirements
• EMR system: EPIC

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of ICU experience (higher value between 2 and 3 years)
• Acute care hospital experience required
• Must be willing and able to float to multiple ICU and IMC units as needed
• Strong focus on patient care, team communication, and flexibility with assignments
• Able to potentially take multiple different assignments in the same shift

Additional Information

• Dress code: Scrubs (no specific color), no open-toed shoes, no jeans, no clothing with large logos or profanity
• Patient care involves basic ICU-level acuity, not high complexity interventions
