Description
Job Opportunity: Interventional Radiology Tech
Location: Rochester, Minnesota
Employment Type: Travel Clinical Allied
Position Overview
- Provide imaging services to adolescents and adults in Radiology and Operating Room settings.
- Produce high-quality images meeting established departmental standards.
- Competence required in various equipment and technology.
- Follow safety guidelines for patients, support personnel, and self.
- Foster teamwork through effective communication.
- Flexibility to work varied locations, shifts, and lengths including days, evenings, nights, holidays, and weekends.
- Respond to on-call pager as needed.
Contract Length
- 12 weeks
Qualifications & Requirements
Education & Certification
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program or registry eligible with certification obtained before employment start.
- Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) as R.T.(R).
- ARRT registration in Vascular Interventional Radiology (VI) required within 18 months of start date.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
Experience
- Experience working in sterile environments and with aseptic technique preferred.
- Associates degree preferred.
Prior Travel Experience
- Not explicitly required.
Additional Notes
- Must be CPR/BLS certified and hold ARRT (R) credentials at start.
- Ability to work varied shifts and respond to on-call duties is essential.
