Job Opportunity: Special Procedures Tech - Radiology
Location: Dulles, Virginia
Employment Type: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Work in the Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology (IR) unit
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
- No nights, no weekends, no call requirements (may need to take call occasionally)
- Unit staffing includes 2 RNs and 2 techs
- Equipment used: INNOVA, Assist, MacLab
- Documentation systems: Meditech and MacLab
- Patient ratio: 1:1
- Role involves cardiac catheterization and IR procedures
- Dress code: Hospital-issued scrubs
Requirements
- Specialty: Cardiac catheterization scrub tech
- Certifications:
- ARRT Certification
- BLS
- ACLS (hospital-specific certification)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in specialty (Special Procedures Tech)
