Job Opportunity: Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Rehabilitation Therapy

Location: Dover, Delaware
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Schedule: 35 hours per week

About the Role

• Provide high-quality speech therapy evaluations and treatments for residents in a senior living community.
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to improve communication, safety, and quality of life.
• Work with patients across skilled nursing, personal care, and independent living care settings.
• Collaborate closely with an experienced rehab team, nursing staff, and other healthcare partners.
• Document services using Net Health (training provided if needed).
• Support a positive, resident-centered culture within the therapy department.

Requirements

• Valid Delaware SLP license in good standing.
• Experience working in senior care.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexible, compassionate, and professional approach to care.
• Two-step PPD or TB skin test within 30 days of start date.
• CPR certification through The American Heart Association or The Red Cross.
• Covid vaccination records or exemption.
• Background check and fingerprinting.
