Job Summary: Registered Nurse (Travel/Contract)

Location: Baltimore, Maryland

Job Details

  • Work every other weekend and holiday

  • Two supervisory references within 1 year of start
  • Previous 5 years of employment history verification (attestation accepted if necessary)
  • Agency application/resume completed within 30 days of start

Health & Immunization Requirements

  • Physical exam within 1 year of start, including Latex Screen
  • Fit test for masks within 1 year of start
  • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (required for units working with children; not required for ER unless Peds ER)
  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray with annual updates as applicable
  • TB questionnaire if positive TB result
  • Immunizations or positive titers required for:
    • Rubeola (Measles)
    • Mumps
    • Rubella
    • Hepatitis B (declination accepted for low/equivocal titer)
    • Varicella
  • Seasonal flu vaccination or medical/religious exemption required during flu season
  • COVID vaccine not required for this location; exemptions accepted if required elsewhere

Facility Specific Requirements

  • Passport/badge style photo with solid white/beige background required
  • Candidate must sign job description and confidentiality agreement prior to start
  • Completion of standards of conduct and employee confidentiality statement prior to start
  • Badge ID application must be completed prior to start
  • Portfolio Epic Training Test Out form may be required depending on Epic experience

Additional Notes

  • Medication, pharmacology, competency, age-specific, dysrhythmia/EKG, and color blindness competency exams may be required depending on profession/unit
  • Some certifications and documents are unit-specific; refer to job description for applicability
