Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (RN) - Med-Surg Acute Care/OBS Unit
Location: Glenwood Springs, Colorado
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in an Acute Care/Med-Surg Adult setting.
- Utilize specialized knowledge related to critical disease states to plan, coordinate, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Support growing census due to increased orthopedic surgeries, hybrid cath lab procedures, and acute/chronic illnesses.
- Work 12-hour day shifts including weekend rotations.
- Participate in call rotation, taking 1 call shift per 2-week period as needed.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience in Acute Care, Med-Surg, Telemetry, or similar.
- Current RN license valid in Colorado.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications issued by the American Heart Association.
- Flu vaccine required (no exemptions).
- Must agree to call rotation.
Additional Information
- Traveler housing available: newly remodeled studio apartments and small one-bedroom units near the hospital (fully furnished, utilities included).
- Radius rule: Traveler’s permanent address must be at least 75 miles away from the facility.
