Travel Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech) - Interventional Radiology
Location: Gainesville, Florida
Employment Type: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 26 weeks
Job Summary
Seeking a Radiologic Technologist with experience in Interventional Radiology for a travel assignment. The position involves working in a hospital setting with a schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, including on-call duties.
Required Qualifications
- Specialty: Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech)
- Years of Experience: Minimum 2 years in critical care or related specialty (highest requirement)
- Certifications:
- ARRT Certification
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- Skills & Procedures:
- Experience with interventional radiology procedures such as angiograms, stenting, embolization, thrombectomy, biopsy, and drainages
- Licenses: Florida nursing license (if applicable) and ACLS for RNs noted but primarily for nursing staff
Work Environment & Equipment
- Documentation system: Meditech
- Unit: Interventional Radiology, Cost Center 727
- Procedures performed include advanced interventional radiology techniques
- Schedule includes day shifts with call responsibilities
