Registered Nurse (Nursing) - Bozeman, Montana

Job Summary

The Registered Nurse works collaboratively with the healthcare team to assess patient needs, plan and implement patient and family education, and initiate appropriate interventions.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited School of Nursing, Associate degree, or Diploma
• Montana Registered Nurse Licensure
• American Heart Association BLS certification
• American Heart Association ACLS certification (within 6 months of hire)
• Minimum 18 months of Registered Nurse experience (1.5 years)

Preferred:

• Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR)
• 1 year circulating experience
• 1 year scrub experience

• Collect comprehensive patient health data (Assessment)
• Analyze assessment data to determine diagnoses or issues (Diagnosis)
• Identify expected outcomes and develop individualized care plans
• Implement and evaluate the plan of care
• Promote health and a safe environment
• Enhance quality and effectiveness of nursing practice
• Maintain knowledge and competency reflecting current nursing practice
• Evaluate own nursing practice against professional standards and regulations
• Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare team
• Integrate ethical provisions and research findings into practice
• Provide leadership in professional nursing practice

Stroke Competency

• Comply with hospital policies related to hyperacute and acute stroke care
• Participate in 2 hours of initial cerebrovascular disease (stroke) education within one year of hire
• Participate in 1 hour annually of stroke education

Additional Information

• Variable day shift positions with call; flexibility to cover all shifts is required
• Traveler must live at least 90 miles away from the facility to be considered
