Job Opportunity: Multi-Modality Radiology Technologist

Location: Big Sky, Montana
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

  • Perform high-quality MRI, CT, and X-Ray exams independently to assist in diagnosis or treatment.
  • Produce images for interpretation by licensed practitioners.
  • Work with all patient populations including NICU, CCU, and ED.
  • Operate with limited to no supervision, maintaining attention to detail and reliability.
  • Assist medical staff in other departments as needed.
  • Complete documentation and ensure proper distribution, billing, and archiving of exams.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and support peer training.

Required Qualifications

  • Graduate of a CAHEA-accredited Radiology program or equivalent with documented competencies in Radiology, CT, and MRI.
  • Montana Radiologic Technologist Licensure.
  • ARRT advanced certification in both CT & MRI.
  • American Heart Association BLS certification.
  • Minimum 2 years of radiology experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of CT and/or MRI experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate or Bachelor degree in healthcare-related studies.

Schedule Requirements

  • Regular and sustained attendance required.
  • May require working beyond a standard 40-hour workweek, including weekends and after-hours shifts.
  • On-call work may be required.

Physical Requirements

  • Frequent lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Repeated sitting, standing, walking, twisting, bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching above shoulder level, pushing, and pulling.
  • Continuous fine-finger movements and close visual acuity.
  • Exposure to bloodborne pathogens, radiation, chemicals, infectious diseases, and emotionally challenging situations.

Additional Information

  • Facility may cancel up to three shifts during the 13-week contract due to low census or unforeseen circumstances.
  • Candidates must live at least 90 miles away from the facility to be considered.

Prior travel experience required: No indication that prior travel experience is required.
