Description
Job Opportunity: RN Interventional Radiology
Location: Chicago, Illinois
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Details
- Shift: Day/Mid with on-call responsibilities
- Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8-hour shifts
- On-call: Nights and weekends for emergency cases, approximately 2-3 times per week with rotating weekends
- Specialty Experience Required: Interventional Radiology (IR) / Cath Lab
- Additional Experience: Basic critical care experience such as ER or ICU
- License: Illinois RN license required
- Certifications: BLS and ACLS required
Required Credentials & Compliance
- Valid Driver’s License, State ID, or Passport (required for onboarding)
- Prime OIG clearance
- Drug Screening: Minimum 10-panel test including THC, within 60 days of start
- Color-blind test (annual)
- COVID-19 Vaccine: 2 doses plus booster or completed declination
- MMR: Proof of 2 vaccines or positive titer showing immunity
- Hepatitis B vaccination or immunity proof (declinations not accepted)
- TB Test: Within 1 year of start date
- Varicella vaccination or immunity proof
- Tdap vaccination (declinations not accepted in some locations)
- Annual TB Questionnaire
- Physical/Health Statement: Must state clear to work, completed annually or within 60 days of start
- National Criminal Background Check within 1 year of start
- Social Security Card
- Prime Core Competencies Exam: Must score 80% or higher
- Prime Skills Checklist (required for submission)
- Badge Photo: Clear headshot with plain background (JPEG)
- Employment Eligibility Verification (Form I-9)
- Signed Job Description
- Onboarding Education Attestation (must be completed prior to clearance)
- Essentials Onboarding Packet
Certifications Required
- ACLS (American Heart Association or Red Cross)
- BLS (American Heart Association or Red Cross)
- NIHSS
- DCI/BVP (can be completed via Relias or similar platforms)
Additional Notes
- Fit testing must be completed prior to start; no onsite fit testing available in Illinois
- Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this position
- Must be prepared for on-call duties including nights and weekends
