Travel RN Opportunity - Emergency Department

Location: Bridgton, Maine
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Position Details

Specialty: Emergency Department RN
Shift: Nights (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
Weekly Hours: 36 guaranteed
Weekend Shifts: 10 per contract
Call Requirements: None specified
Patient Ratio: 1:4
Unit Type: Critical Access Hospital (25 beds)
Trauma Level: III

ACLS
BLS
PALS
NRP
TNCC

Experience Requirements

Years of Experience: 5 years in specialty (Emergency Department)
Prior Travel Experience: Not required

Skills & Responsibilities

Management of dysrhythmias
Blood product administration
Phlebotomy
Starting IVs
Continuous IV sedation
IV vasopressors
Procedural sedation administration
Care for CVA, ortho-trauma, head injury patients
Isolation precautions
Triage
Use of Cerner EHR system

Preferred Experience

Critical Access hospital experience
NIH and NRP certifications

Additional Information

Must be flexible to work days, mids, and nights; schedule varies without set number of days per shift
Equipment used includes Level I infuser and telestroke technology
Dress code: Navy blue scrubs
