Travel RN Opportunity - Emergency Department

Location: Louisburg, North Carolina

Facility & Unit Information

Emergency Department with 20 beds
Patient ratio: 4:1
High-paced, high-acuity, rural emergency department
Various aged patient population
Electronic Health Record (EHR) system: Paragon
Shift options: 7 AM, 11 AM, 7 PM
Weekly guaranteed hours: 36 hours
Weekend hours: Rotating
No call requirements
No float requirements

Required Certifications & Licenses

CPR
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
Handle with care or de-escalation training (Crisis Prevention Intervention Training - CPI)
NIH Certification
Registered Nurse License

Experience Requirements

Minimum 1 year of experience in Emergency Department nursing

Preferred Skills/Experience

Peripheral IV insertion
Stroke care
Sepsis management
STEMI (ST-Elevation Myocardial Infarction) experience

Work Environment & Dress Code

Scrub colors allowed: Black, navy, royal blue
No vulgar/slang language on clothing
No sweatpants or active pants
