Description
Travel IR Tech (Rad Tech) - Dothan, Alabama
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Days, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (may need to stay late to finish workload)
Call: Every other weekend, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, with 30-minute arrival time
Requirements
- BLS certification
- ARRT certification
- Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology (IR) experience
- Permanent address located more than 50 miles from the facility
Skills Needed
- Paracentesis / Thoracentesis
- CT Guided biopsies, drains, aspirations
- Arthrograms (all joints)
- Joint and spine injections / aspirations
- Epidurals
- Urology procedures including drains, stents, nephrostomies
- Ultrasound guided biopsies and FNAs
- Biliary drains
- Indwelling / tunneled pleural and peritoneal catheters
Additional Notes
- Position requires call coverage typically every other weekend
- Must be able to work day shift with potential for extended hours to complete workload
