Travel RN Opportunity – ICU in Lewiston, ME

Position Details

• Shift: Day shift, 6:45 AM – 6:45 PM (3 or 4 shifts of 12 hours)
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
• Weekend Requirements: 3 weekends per 6-week schedule block
• Call Requirements: None
• Float Requirements: Must be flexible to float to other units as needed, including CICU, Medical-Surgical, Telemetry, and Emergency Room

Unit Information

• Unit: ICU – Y4
• Trauma Level: Level 3
• Patient Ratios: 1:1 to 1:3 depending on acuity
• Equipment: Ceiling lifts, Hoyer lifts, sit-to-stand lifts, Baxter Sigma Spectrum IV Pumps, extensive safe-patient handling equipment
• EHR Systems: Omnicell, Cerner, SBAR
• Patient Population: Adult ICU patients

Required Qualifications

• Licensure/Certifications: Valid RN license, ACLS certification
• Experience: Minimum 2 years ICU experience (including trauma/neuro experience)
• Skills: Must have trauma and neuro experience
• Common Diagnoses/Treatments: Sepsis, shock, multi-organ failure, respiratory failure, trauma, neuro/brain injuries, complicated surgeries, stroke, encephalopathy
