Job Opportunity: Radiology / Cardiology Technologist (Travel/Contract)

Location: Huntington, West Virginia
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Details

  • Schedule:

    • 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts (06:45 AM - 5:15 PM)
    • One weeknight call (08:00 AM - 6:30 PM)
    • Call every 4th weekend starting Friday evening through Monday morning (12.5 hours Friday night, 24 hours Saturday, 24 hours Sunday)
  • Responsibilities:

    • Cath Lab experience required
    • Duties include scrubbing at the table for Left Heart Catheterizations, Angioplasty
    • Familiarity with Acute MI equipment and sterile technique
    • Ability to perform as first assist to physicians, including table planning and camera movement
  • Licensure:

    • Must have West Virginia Medical Imaging & Radiation Therapy Tech Board Public Registry

  • Immunizations and titers required:
    • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (within 10 years, no declinations except medical/religious exemptions)
    • Negative TB test or chest X-ray (updated annually)
    • Measles, Mumps, Rubella (positive titers or vaccinations)
    • Hepatitis A, B, C (titers, vaccinations, or declinations with required forms)
    • Varicella (positive titer or vaccinations)
    • Seasonal Flu vaccine required annually (medical/religious exemptions require approval)
    • COVID-19 seasonal vaccine required; declination form required if opting out

Additional Requirements

  • Proof of 2 clinical references or hospital evaluations
  • Completion of facility-specific new hire forms, confidentiality agreements, standards of behavior, IT access, OSHA post-test, and COVID forms prior to start
  • Completion of competency exams and orientation safety manual acknowledgment
  • Candidates must review hospital policies and complete TB screening questionnaire
