Registered Nurse (RN) - Midland, Michigan (Temp)

Job Overview

• Provide direct patient/resident care and delegate to patient care technicians.
• Care for general surgical and orthopedic surgical patients with basic medical/surgical knowledge.
• Comply with all local, state, and federal regulations related to facility care.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and provide skilled nursing services as prescribed by physician-authorized plans of care.
• Administer medications, treatments, assist with transfers, respond to alarms, and provide direct resident care.
• Evaluate and participate in updating treatment plans to improve patient care.
• Process and perform physician/provider orders accurately and timely.
• Follow up on medication changes and order clarifications.

Contract Length

• 13 weeks

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 2+ years of Medical-Surgical (Med Surg) nursing experience (required).
• Prior travel experience is highly preferred but not required.

Skills & Certifications Required

• Active Michigan RN license.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Current American Heart Association ACLS certification.
• Skills checklist relevant to Med Surg, current within 1 year.
• Two supervisory reference forms completed within the last two years.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with Epic EMR system (highly preferred).
