Description

Job Opportunity: CVOR Tech (Travel)

Location: Las Cruces, New Mexico
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Days, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with call required
Call Requirements: Split among nurses for 24/7 unit coverage

Requirements

Minimum 1+ years of CVOR Tech experience
BLS and AED certification required
CST certification preferred
Prior travel experience: Not explicitly required

Role & Responsibilities

Provide surgical tech support in the CVOR operating room
Ensure patient safety during complex open-heart and vascular cases
Manage documentation and workflow coordination
Maintain sterile field support during surgical procedures
Float to OR when no CVOR cases are scheduled

Additional Information

Patient ratio: 1:1
EMR systems used: PICIS and Medhost
Hospital provides laundered scrubs
48-hour weekly guarantees are not approved
Blocked scheduling cannot be approved
Maximum requested time off (RTO): 1 week
Holiday work required
