CVOR Tech Travel Opportunity

Location: Santa Maria, California

Job Details

Specialty: CVOR Tech (Cardiovascular Operating Room Technician)
Required Experience: 2 years of experience in CVOR
Licenses/Certifications:
- Active BLS Certification
- California State License
- ACLS and CST preferred for Techs
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Work Environment

Unit: Operating Room (OR)
Number of OR Suites: 7
Cases per Day: 18-20
Nurse-to-Patient Ratios: 1:1 and 2:1
Electronic Medical Record (EMR) System: Cerner
Charge Nurse and OR Techs present on unit
Scrub color provided

Schedule & Call Requirements

Call Requirement for CSTs: Yes
- Includes some nights and weekends
- 1 week of night shifts per week
- 2 weekend 12-hour call shifts per month
Call Response Time: 30 minutes
Holidays: Work required on holidays
Weekend Requirement for CSTs: No mandatory weekend shifts outside of call
Surgeon on call hours: 24/7 with 10-hour varied shifts

Additional Information

Prior travel experience is not explicitly required
Overtime paid after 40 hours/week
Telemetry equipment: Phillips
Ventilators available on unit
