Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse - Cath Lab Days

Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Work in Cath Lab during day shifts
• EP (Electrophysiology) experience required
• Call required, including 1 weekend per month (Friday-Sunday)
• Care for adult and geriatric cardiac patients requiring diagnostic and interventional procedures including CAD, ACS, STEMI/NSTEMI, arrhythmias, heart failure, and vascular disease
• Utilize equipment such as IMPELLA, IABP, ROTAPRO, LASER in a 3 lab unit

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of specialty experience in Cath Lab or related area
• EP experience is mandatory
• Prior travel experience: Not required (1st time travel accepted)

Certifications Required

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• Other certifications may be required as applicable (PALS, NRP, CHEMO, TNCC, MAB, CPI, NIH Stroke Certification)

Licensure

• Valid state nursing license with primary source verification
• NURSYS verification required

Compliance and Documentation

• Background checks including 7-year history, education verification, EPLS/GSA/SAM, HHS/OIG
• Drug screening (10 panel) within 90 days of start
• Physical exam within 12 months of start
• Fit mask test within 1 year of start, renewed annually
• Immunizations and health documents required:

  • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (within 10 years)
  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year
  • Measles, Mumps, Rubella (positive titer or 2 vaccines)
  • Hepatitis B (positive titer, series, or declination)
  • Varicella (positive titer, 2 vaccines, or documented history)
  • Seasonal flu vaccination or approved exemption (during flu season)
  • COVID-19 vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption
