Experience Requirements

• Minimum Years of Specialty Experience: 2 years

Certifications Required

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• PALS, NRP, CHEMO, TNCC, MAB, NIH Stroke Certification, CPI (as applicable)

Preferred Skills

• Epic charting experience preferred

Compliance and Documentation Requirements

• I9 verification
• Driver’s License/State ID
• E-Verify
• 7-year background check (including SS trace, county searches, nationwide, sex offender, education verification)
• EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks
• Fingerprinting (time sensitive for certain locations)
• Education verification (highest level)
• State license verification (primary source)
• NURSYS verification for RN
• Photo for badge
• Physical exam within 12 months
• Fit mask test within 1 year (annual renewal required)
• Immunizations and health documents:

  • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (within 10 years)
  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray (within 1 year)
  • TB questionnaire (if applicable)
  • Measles (Rubeola), Mumps, Rubella (positive titer or 2 vaccines)
  • Hepatitis B (positive titer, series, or declination)
  • Varicella (positive titer, 2 vaccines, or documented history)
  • Negative 10-panel drug screen (within 90 days)
  • Seasonal flu vaccination or approved exemption (required during flu season)
  • COVID-19 vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption

Competency Requirements

• Medication test/pharmacology competency exam (80% score or meet Angoff score)
• Color blind testing (online)
• Competency exams as applicable (minimum 80% passing score)
• Annual core testing for subcontractors

• Candidates residing in certain Texas counties are not eligible for this contract.

• 7-year work history verification required.
• References are not required for clearance but may be requested internally.

This position is ideal for experienced RNs with prior travel experience who are comfortable with a 1:6 patient ratio and working 12-hour shifts in a 36-bed unit. Compliance with extensive documentation, immunization, and competency requirements is mandatory.
