Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (CVOR RN) - Anchorage, Alaska
Position Details

- Shift: 4x10 hour days (40 hours/week)
- Start Date: ASAP
- Guaranteed Hours: 70 hours per 2 weeks (may be called off for 1 shift per 2 weeks)

- Locals Accepted: No (candidate's permanent address must be at least 50 miles from facility)
- Floating: Clinician may float within scope to meet facility needs
- Block Schedule: Open to accommodating block schedule

Requirements & Compliance
- Background Checks: Comprehensive background check within 45 days of start, covering all locations lived/worked in past 7 years; must be updated annually.
- Drug Testing: 10-panel drug screen within 90 days of start (no instant tests); negative results required.
- Health Documents:
- Physical exam within 1 year of start
- Fit mask test (annual, travel only)
- Immunizations: TDAP, MMR (Rubeola, Mumps, Rubella), Hepatitis B (specific for Alaska placements), Varicella, Flu seasonal vaccination (declinations accepted), COVID vaccine or declination
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 12 months (annual update required)
- Respiratory safety clearance (travel only, annual)
- References: Minimum 2 supervisor references covering 1 year of employment within last 3 years in comparable specialty/setting
- Employment Application: Must include at least last 5 years of employment with month/year format; 7 years for APN/Subcontractors
- Skills Checklist: Required for applicable units, updated annually
Training & Competencies
- Competency Exams: Medication test/pharmacology competency exam as applicable
- Specialty Training: May require unit-specific competencies and exams (e.g., EFM for L&D RNs)
- WorkRamp Modules: Required completion of Providence-specific regulatory, specialty, and regional training modules prior to start and annually as applicable
- Epic Access: Completion of Epic training modules required prior to moving to paid status
