Physical Therapist (PT) - Travel Position

Location: Sacramento, California
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Immediate start
• Work in a 52-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital focused on recovery from injury or illness
• Provide intensive, patient-focused, specialized rehabilitation services
• Treat patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury
• Aim to maximize health, function, and quality of life through comprehensive physical medicine and rehabilitation programs

• Weekend Hours: PTA works Fri–Tues schedule; OT and SLP rotate weekends every 2-3 weeks

• Years of Experience Required: 2 years in Acute Rehab or Acute Care
• Patient Ratio: 4-5 patients per day
• Treatment Time: Approximately 6 hours per day
• Patient Population: Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), Spinal Cord Injury (SCI), Orthopedic Trauma
• Electronic Health Record (EHR) System: Cerner
