Job Opportunity: Surgical Technician

Location: Silver Spring, Maryland
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)

Shift Details

• Evening shift options:

  • 5 days a week, 3 PM to 11 PM
  • 3 days a week, 11 AM to 11 PM
• Occasional weekend shifts required for both schedules

Required Certifications and Licenses

• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) (required before onboarding)
• BLS (Basic Life Support) - American Heart Association certification required for all direct patient care personnel
• Valid License/Certificate Verification dated within 30 days of start
• Fit Test
• Trinity 10 Panel Drug Screen (10-panel drug screen completed within 30 days of start; no THC)
• COVID-19 Vaccine (proof of booster by Sept 2025, declination or exemption accepted except for CA or IL)
• MMR (proof of 2 vaccinations or IgG titer)
• Hepatitis B (must have started vaccination series prior to start; titers not accepted)
• Influenza Vaccine (proof or declination for 2024-2025 or 2025-2026 flu season)
• 2 Step PPD OR IGRA (Quantiferon/Tspot) with chest x-ray if positive TB as per regional requirements
• Varicella (proof of vaccination or IgG titer)
• Physical/Health Statement (exam within last year confirming fitness to work)

Professional and Compliance Requirements

• Trinity Specialty Specific Competency Testing (specialty exam within the last year)
• Trinity Code of Conduct Form (signed)
• Trinity I9 form (completed by agency)
• Trinity Integrity and Audit Services Form (signed shortly before start)
• Trinity Confidentiality of Patient and Proprietary Information and Information System Security Agreement (signed)
• Trinity Conflict of Interest Disclosure Form (signed)
• Criminal Background Check (federal, nationwide, county for last 7 years; dated within 30 days of start)
• Education Verification (highest academic degree or diploma verified)
• EPLS (Excluded Parties List System) check dated within 30 days
• GSA/OIG (Office of Inspector General) exclusion check dated within 30 days
• Joint Commission CORE Exam within the last year
• NSO (National Sex Offender) check dated within 30 days
• System Access Form (completed and uploaded one week before start)
• Skills Checklist (provided by agency for clinical contractors)
• Signed Job Description (upload required)
• OFAC (Office of Foreign Assets Control) sanctions check within 30 days
