Travel RN Opportunity - EP Lab

Location: Hudson, Florida
Employment Type: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Unit Overview

  • Unit: Electrophysiology (EP) Lab
  • Bed Capacity: 2 EP Labs
  • Staffing:
    • 1 Cardiovascular Technician (CVT)
    • 4.5 Registered Nurses (RNs)
  • Shift Type: Day and Night shifts
  • Patient Ratios: Not specified
  • Equipment: GE X-ray system, Claris hemodynamic system
  • EMR System: Mac Lab / Meditech

Required Skills and Experience

  • Specialty: Registered Nurse (RN) with EP Lab/Cardiovascular experience
  • Years of Experience: Minimum 1 year in specialty
  • Certifications:
    • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
    • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • Licenses: Valid Registered Nurse License
  • Clinical Skills:
    • Ability to monitor and scrub EP cases
    • Experience with EP diagnostics, ablations, device insertions, TEE/CV
  • Preferred: Cath Lab experience

Work Schedule and Expectations

  • Scheduled according to facility policy
  • Expected to work every other weekend and holidays on a rotating basis with hospital staff
  • No on-call requirement
