Description
Travel Physical Therapist Opportunity
Location: Port Charlotte, Florida
Employment Type: Travel
Facility & Unit Overview
- Acute care hospital with 253 beds, including a 20-bed Inpatient Rehab unit
- Approximately 20 Physical Therapy caregivers on staff
- Day shift only for PT, OT, SLP; no night shift
- Typical patient load: 9-10 patients per day (75% productivity standard)
- Equipment: Mobility equipment
- EMR system: Meditech
Job Requirements
- Valid Florida Physical Therapist (PT) license
- MPT or DPT degree from an accredited college or university
- Minimum 1 year of acute care experience in Physical Therapy (highest required experience)
- BLS certification required
- Must be able to work every other weekend and holidays on a rotating schedule with hospital staff
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Meditech EMR system
- ICU experience

- Physical Therapy evaluation and treatment of patients
