Description

Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - Travel Position

Location: Tacoma, Washington
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

Employment Type: Travel
Setting: Inpatient Rehabilitation Hospital (60 beds)
Schedule: Monday to Friday, primarily 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM or 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Weekend Requirement: Approximately 1 weekend day per month with a compensatory day off during the week
Weekly Hours: 36 hours guaranteed
Patient Population: Adults and older adults
Patient Load: Approximately 6.5 treatments per 8-hour day

Requirements

Licensure: Valid SLP license required
Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in Speech-Language Pathology
Specialty Experience: Inpatient rehab experience required
Preferred Experience: Experience with CVA (stroke) and neurological diagnoses preferred

Additional Information

Work Environment: State-of-the-art inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital focused on recovery from severe injury or illness
Certifications: SLP license required
Call/Float: No call or float requirements specified
Equipment/EHR: Not specified
Other Notes:
- Scrub color is flexible
- Reporting time is 8:00 AM
- Occasional weekend flexing for comp day off during the week
