    Description

    Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - Travel Position

    Location: Tacoma, Washington
    Contract Length: 13 weeks


    Job Details

    • Employment Type: Travel
    • Setting: Inpatient Rehabilitation Hospital (60 beds)
    • Schedule: Monday to Friday, primarily 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM or 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
    • Weekend Requirement: Approximately 1 weekend day per month with a compensatory day off during the week
    • Weekly Hours: 36 hours guaranteed
    • Patient Population: Adults and older adults
    • Patient Load: Approximately 6.5 treatments per 8-hour day

    Requirements

    • Licensure: Valid SLP license required
    • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in Speech-Language Pathology
    • Specialty Experience: Inpatient rehab experience required
    • Preferred Experience: Experience with CVA (stroke) and neurological diagnoses preferred

    Additional Information

    • Work Environment: State-of-the-art inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital focused on recovery from severe injury or illness
    • Certifications: SLP license required
    • Call/Float: No call or float requirements specified
    • Equipment/EHR: Not specified
    • Other Notes:
      • Scrub color is flexible
      • Reporting time is 8:00 AM
      • Occasional weekend flexing for comp day off during the week
