Job Details

• Location: Cook, Minnesota

Certifications & Licensure

• BLS Certification required
• Licensed to practice Physical Therapy in the State of Minnesota

Patient Population & Setting

• Patient population ranges from Pediatrics to Geriatrics
• Common diagnoses include Orthopedics, Neurology, Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson's, High School Injuries, Work-Related Injuries, Sports Rehabilitation, Wound Care, and more
• Work settings include outpatient clinic, inpatient, and swing bed admissions in a small rural hospital environment

Job Responsibilities

• Treat 8-14 patients per day
• Perform thorough evaluations and daily documentation after each treatment (no end-of-day batch charting)
• Must have outpatient experience; manual therapy skills preferred
• Good time management skills required
• Wound care and LSVT Big Therapy are performed by permanent staff; travelers do not need prior experience with LSVT Big Therapy

Work Schedule

• Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• 1-hour lunch break (30 minutes paid, 30 minutes unpaid)
• Hours of operation: 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• No weekend or holiday requirements for travelers

Team & Environment

• Small team with collaborative assignment distribution
• Rehab aides and PT assistants available with extensive experience
• No specific scrub color or dress code required (casual professional acceptable)
