• Unit: Trauma Floor
• Number of Beds: 48
• Patient Ratio: 1:6
• EHR System: Paragon
• Patient Population: Adult (implied by specialty and unit)
• Float Requirements: Rare and unlikely; may need to float to inpatient rehab or ER

Required Qualifications

• Certifications: NIH, ACLS, BLS
• Licenses: Registered Nurse License (RN)
• Experience:

  • Minimum 1 year in Medical Surgical specialty
  • Must have completed at least 1 prior travel assignment (prior travel experience required)
• Skills:

  • Able to start IVs
  • Insert Foley catheters
  • Insert NG tubes
  • Experience performing EKGs
  • Experience managing heparin drips

Preferred Experience

• Experience managing a 1:6 patient ratio with high turnover

Additional Notes

• Facility is Joint Commission Accredited
• Large, advanced ICU and PCU with 205 licensed beds
• Known for high safety standards ("A" LeapFrog Hospital Safety Rating)
• Candidates must be located 60 miles or more from the facility to qualify as travel
