Description

Occupational Therapist (OT) - Travel Position

Location: Lewiston, Idaho
Contract Length: 12 weeks


Job Description

  • Facilitate development and rehabilitation of physically disabled patients
  • Maximize functional status of hospitalized patients
  • Evaluate, plan, implement, and modify age-appropriate treatment programs
  • Participate in discharge planning and performance improvement (PI) activities
  • Perform administrative duties and pursue professional growth
  • Primarily cover the Acute Rehabilitation Unit (ARU); may float to inpatient units if census is low

Requirements

  • License: Must have a valid Idaho OT license
  • Certifications: BLS certification through the American Heart Association required
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years recent OT hospital experience (higher years of experience requirement confirmed)
  • Schedule: Tuesday through Saturday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
  • Additional: Must submit required documentation and follow submission template for consideration

Notes for Candidates

  • Prior travel experience is not explicitly required
  • Position may require floating to other units depending on census
  • Experience with hospital-based OT preferred
  • Must be able to work the specified shift schedule
