    Job Summary: Radiology / Cardiology Travel Contract in Stockton, California

    Position Details

    Experience & Certification Requirements

    • Years of Experience Required: 2 years (higher end of 1-2 years stated)
    • Certifications Required:
      • BLS (Basic Life Support) - AHA or ARC only
      • NMT, RHN, or ARRT(N)
      • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) - AHA or ARC only (verify by position)
      • Other certifications may be required depending on position (e.g., PALS, NRP, CCRN, TNCC, EFM, IV Certification, CPI, NIH Stroke Certification)
    • Licensure:
      • State License verification required within 30 days of start
      • NURSYS Verification for RN, LPN/LVN, AP within 30 days of start (if applicable)
    • Prior Travel Experience: Not explicitly required

    Background and Compliance Requirements

    • 7-year background check required within 6 months of start, including:
      • Social Security Trace with all aliases
      • County searches for last 7 years of residence/work/school
      • Nationwide Sex Offender Search (within 90 days of start)
      • Education Verification (highest level achieved, not required if high school)
      • FACIS Level 3 screening within 2 weeks of start and monthly thereafter
      • EPLS/GSA/SAM, HHS/OIG, OFAC Sanctions List, Medi-Cal Suspended and Ineligible Provider List (as applicable)
    • Drug Testing: Negative 9-panel drug screen within 6 months of start (excluding marijuana/cannabinoids due to CA law)
    • Employment Application: Full 7 years of work history with no gaps; employment verification required for up to 7 years
    • References: 2 professional references required for clinical/allied/per diem acute care candidates

    Health and Immunization Requirements

    • Physical Exam within 1 year of start (must indicate "cleared for work" or equivalent)
    • Fit Mask Test within 1 year of start; must be renewed annually (exceptions apply)
    • Immunizations and Titers:
      • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap within 10 years
      • Negative TB test or chest x-ray within 90 days; TB questionnaire within 90 days and annually
      • Rubeola (Measles), Mumps, Rubella: Positive IGG titer or vaccination series with boosters as needed
      • Hepatitis B: Positive titer, completed series, or signed declination
      • Varicella: Positive IGG titer or vaccination series with boosters as needed
      • Seasonal Flu Vaccination during flu season (11/1 - 4/30); declination allowed with mask requirement
    • Drug Testing: Negative 9-panel drug screen within 6 months of start (excluding marijuana/cannabinoids)
    • Color Blind Exam: In-person exam required if applicable
    • Respiratory Safety Clearance: Required prior to start and annually (exceptions apply)

    • Religious exemption forms available for PAPR use and certain vaccine requirements; approval required
    • Competency exams and medication/pharmacology tests may be required depending on profession and unit
