Location: Greenfield, Indiana

Position Details

• Specialty: SSV OR RN (Surgical Services / Operating Room Registered Nurse)

• Facility Type: Inpatient and Outpatient surgical procedures
• Number of Suites: 6
• Average Cases per Day: 15-25

Required Certifications

• ACLS (AHA)
• BLS
• PALS (AHA)
• NRP

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in all listed specialties
• Prior travel experience is preferred but not explicitly required
• No first-time travelers preferred

Job Expectations & Details

• Scrubbing required: No for RNs
• Charge Nurse/House Supervisor role: Travelers typically not assigned
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system: Meditech
• Department scrubs provided
• Unit/Department specific orientation: Typically 2 days, up to 1 week if needed

WTBE (Standby) Program

• Provides consistent after-hours coverage without rotating call
• Weekend coverage: Saturday 6:30 a.m. to Monday 6:30 a.m.
• WTBE means offsite standby, must:

  • Answer calls within 5 minutes
  • Arrive onsite within 30 minutes (OR) or 45 minutes (PACU) from initial contact
• Phone must be on and answerable during WTBE shifts
• Must be ready to depart immediately and fit for duty
• No alcohol or impairing substances allowed prior to or during WTBE shifts

• Candidates who worked permanently at this facility within the last 6 months are not eligible
• Scrub color/dress code: Department scrubs provided
