• Unit: Lourdes Behavioral Health, Administration
• Unit Type: Inpatient Behavioral Health and Transitions unit
• Beds: 18 inpatient beds, 16 transition beds
• Average Census:

  • Inpatient: 9-10 patients (capacity up to 18)
  • Transitions: 5-6 patients (capacity up to 16)
• Staffing:

  • Inpatient: 42 FTE staff
  • Transitions: 16 FTE staff
  • Outpatient RNs: 3
  • PACT RNs: 2
• Union Status: Unit employees are unionized, but this position is not
• EHR System: Meditech
• Equipment: Omnicell

Regulatory & Compliance

• Upcoming Surveys:

  • Department of Health (DOH) visit for Transitions unit around November 2026
  • DOH visit for Inpatient unit between June-August 2026
  • The Joint Commission survey due in 2028
• Regulatory Focus: Treatment Plans

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Education: Master’s degree in nursing or related field required
• Licenses & Certifications:

  • Current Washington State Registered Nurse license
  • WAC qualified Mental Health Professional
  • Current CPR (AHA)
  • BLS certification required
• Experience: 3-5 years in psychiatric healthcare setting (highest required years of experience)
• Skills:

  • Ability to work with culturally diverse populations
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred

• Position is open due to previous Director of Nursing stepping down; no new candidates currently available
• Reports to Nursing leadership with dotted line to Chief Nursing Officer
• Staff mix includes permanent and some contract labor
• Focus on employee engagement and patient satisfaction
