Description

Job Opportunity: Nursing (Stepdown Unit)

Location: Lawton, Oklahoma
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Unit Description

Care for patients with STEMI/NSTEMI, chest pain rule out, congestive heart failure (CHF), noninvasive ventilation, post-cardiothoracic surgery ICU care, antiarrhythmic IV medications, peripheral vascular compromise, and related conditions.
33-bed unit with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4.

Shift Details

6:00 PM to 6:00 AM (night shift)
6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule
No block scheduling; flexibility required

Requirements

Minimum 6 months of Stepdown nursing experience (required)
Ability to float to Med/Surg or Emergency Room to manage CVCU/Med Surg holds (required)
Must have current ACLS and BLS/BCLS certifications
No applicants with any disciplinary action will be accepted

Additional Notes

Prior travel experience is required for this position.
