Job Opportunity: RN Acute Rehab (Travel)

Experience Requirements

• Specialty Experience: 1-2+ years of current Acute MS/rehab experience
• Prior Travel Experience: Not explicitly required

Licensure & Certifications

• Must have a Kentucky or compact nursing license
• BLS (Basic Life Support) required
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) required
• NIH Certification required (for RN specialties except OR)

Work Details

• Patient ratio: 1:6
• EMR system: Meditech
• Schedule: 36/48 hours
• Float requirements during low census
• Orientation occurs bi-weekly
• RN must reside within 100 miles of the facility

Required Health & Immunization Credentials

• COVID-19 vaccine proof or approved religious/medical exemption
• Proof of 2 MMR vaccinations or positive titer (with follow-up dosing if needed)
• Proof of 3 Hepatitis B vaccine series or declination
• Proof of 2 Varicella vaccinations or positive titer (with follow-up dosing if needed)
• Tdap vaccination valid within 10 years (declinations accepted)
• Annual physical or health statement signed by MD, DO, PA, or NP stating clear to work without restrictions
• Negative 10-panel drug screen within 30 days prior to start
• TB Quantiferon blood test within one year prior to start (annual update required)
• If positive TB record, proof of chest X-ray within last 5 years plus TB questionnaire

Professional & Compliance Requirements

• Nursys verification within 30 days of start
• License/certificate verification for KY or compact license
• Background check within 30 days prior to start including:

  • 7-year county criminal history
  • Nationwide criminal, SSN trace, sex offender registry, SAM, OIG, EPLS, OFAC checks
  • Education and employment verification (5 years)
  • Driving record
• Kentucky Vulnerable Adult Maltreatment Registry verification within 30 days prior to start
• Specialty job description signed and dated
• ARH Skills Checklist (unit specific, renewed annually)
• ARH Competency Exam with passing score (within 1 year)
• ARH Core Competencies (annual renewal) including HIPAA, Patient Bill of Rights, Safety Orientation, Bloodborne Pathogens, Fire Safety, Infection Control, Elder Abuse and Neglect, Age Specific Care, Cultural Diversity, Advance Directives
• 2 professional references required (1 charge or higher, 1 supervisor reference)
• ARH Assignment Confirmation form to be uploaded within 24 hours of acceptance
