Job Opportunity: Rehabilitation Therapy (Contract)

Location: Honakaa, Hawaii
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 26 weeks

Job Description

• Primarily outpatient therapy with some SNF/inpatient work.
• Workdays: Tuesday to Saturday (5-day work week with possible 1 weekend day schedule; Sun-Thurs or Tues-Sat).
• Must be available to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as necessary based on hospital operations (services provided 24/7).
• Under general supervision, perform diagnostic assessments and prepare/implement treatment plans for occupational therapy services across a full range of cases.
• May provide all therapy services for a unit, center, or facility.
• Use of EMR system: Meditech.

Requirements

• Licensure: Must have an active Hawaii State license by the start of the assignment.
• Certifications: BLS required.
• Experience: Minimum 6 months of work experience in at least one of the following adult settings: Acute care, SNF, rehab hospital, or outpatient.
• Prior Travel Experience: Not required.

Additional Information

• Must arrive the Thursday before the start date for an employee health appointment on Friday.
• Schedule includes 7 days per week departmental coverage.
