Job Opportunity: RN Critical Care (ICU) - Reno, Nevada

Position Details

  • Specialty: RN Critical Care (ICU)

  • Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
  • Shift: Dayshift, 12-hour shifts
  • Schedule: Must be able to float and work weekends
  • Contract Length: 13 weeks (approximately 3 months)
  • Start Date: January 17
  • Assignment Duration Preference: Highly preferred to work full schedule until end of January and first week of February
  • Per Diem: Yes

Experience Requirements

    • MMR (proof of 2 vaccines or positive titer)
    • Varicella (proof of 2 vaccines or positive titer)
    • Hepatitis B (declinations not accepted)
    • Influenza vaccine or declination (required Nov 1 - Mar 31)
    • Tdap (declinations not accepted)
    • Negative TB test within 1 year of start date
    • Physical/Health Statement (clear to work, completed within 60 days of start)
  • Screenings:
    • Drug screen (minimum 10-panel including THC, within 60 days of start)
    • National criminal background check within 1 year of start date
  • Other Requirements:
    • Fit test for respirator (annual; must be completed prior to start if onsite testing not available)
    • Driver’s license, State ID, or Passport
    • Prime Core Competencies Exam (must score 80% or higher)
    • Prime Specialty Exam (must score 80% or higher)
    • Prime Skills Checklist
    • Prime Education Verification (diploma or transcripts accepted)
    • Prime OIG and SAM/EPLS checks
    • Prime Agency Attestation (completed after all credentials uploaded)
    • Prime Form I-9 (employment eligibility verification)
    • Prime Orientation Packet (upload essentials form and post test)
    • Signed job description
    • Two professional references (one from a manager or direct supervisor)
    • Updated resume reflecting recent work history

Additional Notes

  • Full compliance profile required within two weeks after start date
  • Drug screen and background check should be provided shortly after starting
  • Must be able to work full schedule through late January and early February if possible
